Steven Lloyd's Journal, 18 Feb 16

A couple of powder ski pics as promised to a few buddies...taken in the back country, BC, Canada. Back is slightly improved from yesterday, did a short, slow walk with my wife & dog this afternoon. All good, very thankful as it could have been much worse.

Steven, Your skill and agility shine through in these pictures! Prayers for quick and complete recovery are coming your way. Don't let your dog jerk you while he is on his leash.

Well, there's the upside? It will keep you out of the back country during our avalanche season. Was that a helicopter ski trip?

Haha Northern, true enough. This is relatively safe as far as back country goes, guided over known terrain, tree skiing only until stability allows higher alpine. We heli in and then snow cat from the lodge; great operator, great terrain, great group, I'm so very happy the back thing didn't happen before the trip. Panigale, I'm sure you'd crush it... gotta be careful though, powder skiing is very addictive.

Thnx Scalewatcher, prayers are very welcome...this is a very minor bump in life compared to others. Our dog is a little Westie and we live in the country, so no leash, but for sure I'm still moving very carefully.
