I've been on diets since I was 10 (I'm 63 now) but can't seem to keep the weight off. Lose 100, gain 110 - I've done that at least 6 times during my life. My highest weight has been 345 - my lowest 150, for about a month - when I was 12, finishing my first diet to drop almost 100 lbs. - amphetamines and thyroid pills, which was what they did back in the '60's...

The good news is that I've been putting the brakes on this last time around - down from 320 while doing mostly Atkins - and am trying to get the weight off that's creeping back. - I'm back here at Fat Secret to see if I can actually get down to my goal and stay there.
I enjoy giving support to others - used to be a special education teacher - BUT I also need support from others - I can't do this alone. Support, encouragement and, a good swift kick in the rear when needed, are all necessary for me to succeed.
