jmb3450's Journal, 06 Jan 16

194.4 this morning. I was up to 199.2 before putting the lid on things, so about half of the holiday gain is down the drain literally. And feeling much better without the extra sugar and garbage in my diet, aches and stiffness just about gone. That reinforces what I already know which is the sugar and bad carbs cause inflammation. Eat like crap, feel like crap. I'm on a no-crap binge, lol.

Glad you are feeling better YUP, know the feeling, have been eating some also over the holidays, homemade chocolate candy has been the worst this year, also missing exercise makes you stiff and achey and me stressed and grouchy. A toast to no-crap binges!!

My crap binge left me feeling super crummy... and I knew it, but I still woke up everyday wanting to cram more crap in. Interested in the science of it. I'm also on a crap fast, better for it, but part of me still wants some crap.

So TRUE! I guess we are all feeling the repercussions of the crap we consumed! At least we are creating an AWARENESS that will lead us to our successes! Here's to another great day!

It is amazing how much better we feel when we get that sugar out of our systems. Makes one wonder how we get so tempted to eat that crap? A sugar buzz is highly overrated!

Not just sugar but alcohol does the same. I know I had too much beer over the holidays. So beer and wine are on my no-crap list. It's like why do I drink the stuff, it doesn't make me feel good. Habit I think like sugar is; stressed to you reach out for a solution. A cup of herbal tea, yoga, meditation, or an exercise session is so much better for you.

So glad to hear about aches disappearing after cutting back on sugar. I made that part of my plan this year and am looking forward to the benefits.

Nothing tastes as good as being Thin. Nothing tastes as good as being Thin. Repeat.

True about those evil carbs. They make us hurt all over, bloat up like a toad, and crave more of the same so we can continue to feel bad. Getting rid of them is such a blessing!
