213.4 lbs. Weight loss has been slow but steady and I'm ok with that. For this to be permanent change and way of life, that's best anyway, to my way of thinking. And enjoying it really, losing weight AND I get to eat a piece of pie every night! I look forward to it and knowing there will be a healthy treat later helps to avoid temptations during the day. I tweaked the recipe some and this morning made a chocolate peanut butter avocado pie.

I’ve also been going slow and steady — 1-2 lbs less each week. I think it’s more realistic and healthier for us in the long run. PS.) That pie sounds delicious!

Thanks everyone! The recipe for chocolate avocado pie is on my profile page, under recipes, although I'm not sure you can see it if you're using the fatsecret app. On the computer it comes right up. Here's the recipe: Crust: 1 cup almonds, ground | 1.5 TBSP melted butter or coconut oil | 1 tsp artificial sweetener. Mix together in a bowl, then press into bottom of a buttered round 8 or 9 inch cake pan, freeze. Filling: 3 avocados | 2 tsp vanilla extract | 2 tsp lemon juice | 1/4 tsp salt | artificial sweetener equivalent to 6 TBSP sugar | 6 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder. Blend in food processor until smooth and mixed well, scraping down bowl several times. Add more cocoa/artificial sweetener as desired. Spread filling into pan over almond crust, set in freezer to set up, slice into 8 pieces when almost frozen. The pie can be wrapped and kept in the freezer, remove and defrost pieces as needed. Top with a little heavy cream whipped with dash of vanilla and artificial sweetener if desired. About 270 calories and 5 grams net carbs per slice. This may be the healthiest pie you will ever eat, loaded with good nutrition and healthy fats. You can alter the recipe for different flavors. For chocolate peanut butter I added 4 TBSP peanut butter. I've also made lemon by omitting the cocoa and adding some lemon extract, key lime by using lime juice and omitting cocoa, and chocolate almond by adding almond extract. I'm not sure the lemon juice is really needed, it was added to help prevent oxidation of the avocados. But since I freeze it and it gets eaten in a few days it might not be necessary, so next tweak will be to not add it and see how that goes. I've also started adding 1 container of Oikos Triple Zero vanilla yogurt. It adds some creaminess and enhances flavor, at the expense of less than 1 gram net carb per serving.
