11/01/16 journal 2: Woke at 216.6 and ended at 215.6. Still carrying a lot of extra water. Looking to drop that. Compared my lowest weight months with the last few and in addition to the meds I’ve been on, I noticed that I have radically reduced my calorie burn. I was averaging about 98000 calories a month back in March and April and I’m down to about 86000 calories per month for the past few months (with about the same calorie intake). So that is about 400 extra calories per day I’m not burning. Looks like a 10-15 pound difference between the two. Now, the meds are also involved and I’m done with those as of tonight (intravenous and pill), so perhaps I’ll drop the extra 10-15 of water in days and it will be a wash. But it is pretty apparent when I stopped the heavy treadmill work by looking at my monthly charts. Let’s see what happens in November. Targeting 1650 calories per day on average (calculated lean body mass x 10). With a 30 day month, that’s 2031 calories per day for 5 days a week and 600 calories a day for 2 days a week. Today, I went over by 170 by eating the last of the deluxe mixed nuts. I can’t trust myself with an open container, so that’s the end of them...

Ches nailed it! That is quintessential Bill. Beyond awesome burn numbers. Ditto on the nuts. I know I've eaten a container of cashews for a meal on a few occasions. That's why I don't log. Y'all are not laughing at me. :)

You certainly do keep up with your logging and look how it benefits you! I know what you mean. Go back, see what worked for you ... what you were doing differently compared to now. Not being on meds, etc ... will most definitely help you get that water weight off. Give it time. Get in some sweat time!

Bill, you can do this! Give the meds a few days to get out of your system and you'll feel light as a feather. Logging, *GROAN* I've made myself restart logging today. I've been more than slack about it for months.

Binging is so much better.... there arent many shows I can stick with that I have to wait a week in between episodes... although, Walking Dead is one Ill stick to even without the biggest...
