Draglist's Journal, 23 Jan 20

Woke at 228.2, down 1.6 from yesterday. At the hospital today for what I hope is a final checkup and the ability to get off chemo pills. UPDATE: Back home and powered through some high protein lunch items. Did not get the news I had hoped for today. My bloodwork (which I do monthly) is all mostly good, but there are still traces of cancer in my bone marrow and I have to continue taking my daily chemo pill. The good part is that I'm feeling fabulous with tons of energy. I'm in exactly the same good place I've been since having the bone marrow transplant in February 2017. I'm still extremely lucky to have found it very early and to have had a very positive result. Will just continue to eat as clean as possible and do a bit more multiple day fasting, which I had slacked off on a bit. IT'S ALL GOOD! Thanks for the kind comments, FS Friends! UPDATE: Got to 227.6 before dinner. Tomorrow kicks off a three-day fast.

So good to hear your update Bill. I know you had hoped to stop the meds but as long as you are feeling energetic , then I would say it is still a win. God love ya.

Sorry to hear that it’s still there and you have to take your pill. I’m surprised your dr agrees with fasting so much. My oncologist wanted me to eat regular meals, mostly Whole Foods, no meat, no junk food and lots of veggies. By regular she said 3-6 meals a day. Which was one reason I plumped up I think lol.
