Did you already eat some of the chips? Seems a bit minimal. Looks like Fish & Chip. There's a place up the street from me that has THE BEST tartar sauce in the world. Hands down. Well, at least on planet earth. Well, at least in the USA,... no.. Texas. There. Texas. LOL. I used to order their steak fries just to get the tartar sauce. Which ... yeah... explains a lot here.

In 1978, with my "pen pal" Glenda and her family, I sampled the quintessential fish'n'chips wrapped in newsprint from an open seaside stand in Great Yarmouth, a resort town in Norfolk, England, since the 1760s. (Glenda and I were "introduced" by a "pen pal" friend of *hers* in Norwich, Norfolk, who was a school-girl friend of *mine* in WNY. She was seeking a "pen friend" for Glenda. We've been writing since we were 12 years old, Summer 1965, but first met that August in 1978. We didn't meet again until 1997, when she first came to the States. Life just got so busy! We vowed to exchange visits "across the pond" every three years from then on and have stuck to our schedule!)

BILL! To think we were both young(er -- I was two months shy of 26 that August) on the shores of England, eating fish and chips, FORTY-some-odd years ago! Small world ... but I wouldn't wanna paint it!
