204.4 lbs, Won't record weight again till next Saturday. Yesterday was heavier on carbs than I planned with a social meeting that involved lots of cake, donuts, etc. But I held up well there, did have a small sliver of the cake to appease the friend who made it (plus it looked amazing so I wanted to taste it anyway). Good enough to get a small weight drop for the day.

Going to a dinner theater with my wife, mother, youngest daughter and her fiance so that's the next challenge, as long as I keep away from bread, starches and desserts it'll be fine. "Hairspray" is the show, should be fun.
92.7 kg Lost so far: 22.5 kg.    Still to go: 6.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

What a fun and entertaining evening you have planned. This may be helpful as you are at many food events, if I feel like I just have to have a carb, I try to limit the serving size to 3 bites. I do this, because I have found that trying to throw away a cookie is nearly impossible for me, because my teeth won't let go!!! LOL!

scalewatcher..lol..you are funny...To the original poster.. Funny you mention donuts...I have been craving a donut for a week and I haven't had a donut in about 2 years! I don't want to cave to this craving right now...AND congratulations on staying strong at the work party...with the sliver of cake. Yes, your night sounded like fun....Maybe the exercise from being out will conteract the extra eating fun you had!

Sounds like a fun evening coming up. enjoy! For me and the carbs when I go out, I just have to be strong and say no. Sounds like you did a good job with only a sliver of cake - I'm proud of you.

Thank you friends. I was 279lbs at my heaviest and was 88lbs down from that in December. Would love to get to 179, to have lost 100, but that'll take work on my part to do it. For now 190lbs is the target.
