My Sunday weigh in. Down just over 10 pounds on the Daniel fast. The last day for me is Wednesday. I think I will make a cup of tea a minute past midnight Thursday morning. Can't believe I've been able to go so long with only water to drink! But it really hasn't been difficult. Nothing about the fast is difficult, it keeps me full enough to not really crave anything.

Just noticed on the BMI calculator I am no longer obese but am now in the "overweight" category. It will be awhile to be "normal".
78.6 kg Lost so far: 2.2 kg.    Still to go: 5.1 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

Thanks Keyten! I planned on sticking to the fast to the end even though it was hard at first. Mostly because I don't like cooking much and I was worried about not getting enough protein. Then I just decided to not worry so much about the protein and I started enjoying the stir fried vegetables and the roasted yams and brussels sprouts. It's been quite a journey. Oh, and the gallstone scare meant I really needed to eat low fat, at least no animal fat so it was helpful that way too. So surprised at the ease of not drinking water! Thanks Dhatura, Florida, Diana and Erquiaga! The encouragement has helped me with the fast.

Good job sticking to it and congrats on becoming overweight, lol. I was a very long time in overweight, waiting on my BMI to hit < 25, but you will get there. Carry on.

Wow to go. The easiest thing for me to keep my calories down was to switch to water. That's all I drink or plain coffee. I'd rather spend my calories on other stuff. Good on you!.

Can’t believe you’re almost done the Fast!! Good for you enduring! As for BMI etc., I don’t pay attention to it. When I started I was obese as well, which I do not think I was...and have been overweight now forever...and likely will be for good. Idk if I could get down to normal weight according to those charts. Not sure I could maintain what ‘they’ say is normal for my height. It doesn’t consider muscle mass at all and that’s what I’m after, so. There’s. That! 🤪

Thanks Bill! That doesn't seem right with a 34 inch waist. I really never check the calculator. But I knew that I was getting close to switching to overweight. Probably won't look again til I get close to the "normal" range.
