Had a huge prime rib dinner, a massive salad, three glasses of Pinot Noir, and coffee and cake before seeing Flashdance at the Kennedy Center tonight. Delicious and fun. As a result, up in weight for my weigh in (post dinner for a change). Don't know if I'll lose it by the morning, but won't be long.

now that sounds like a night out worth going over the limit before, throw In a fast day and you will be right back on track in no time flat. How was flashdance? I heard they were making a stage show out of it.

Sounds like a fabulous time! Glad you had fun! And you're right, it won't be long before it's gone, too.

The dinner sounds fabulous! The prime rib was a great protein source with no carbs. The roll, chocolate cake & yogurt raised your carbs a tad too high, but eating prime rib isn't a problem for someone working out and trying to get enough protein.

Good morning Bill. We've had this conversation before so you know what I'm going to say :) Life is for living; you will get this weight off eventually, it just gets a little slower when you enjoy life but there is no end to this journey, hopefully you will always be a buddy on FS with me, so I look forward to your continued enjoyment of life and said swings in weight. I am glad you had a fabulous evening, sounds like it was a lot of fun. I'm not a prime rib fan but my hubby is. We usually tell the server to cut the legs and tail off and slap it on a plate - yuk, all bloody and awful. Not quite 'blue' but pretty damn close. Men and their meat - lol. (beats chest and does a Tarzan impression :) Hope you feel great today and that it is a little warmer in DC though I doubt that.

Well that sucks, taking a meeting on a cell phone on public transit! Hope it's not too confidential :)

Don't you just LOVE to have the know-how (and will power) to "just throw in a fast day" when needed? I sometimes think back to when I started this journey, and how much more complicated I made things. I might be a lot more geeky with my numbers today (and so are you! LOL), but the whole thing is SO FRICKIN' EASY! Eat less, move more, have fun, compensate.

What an awesome evening, Bill! Well worth! How do you figure how many carbs to eat a day (and *gasp*) calories? My DCI/BMR is 2450 according to Ms. Tanita.

Hi Bill, how do you calculate your metabolic age? I'm afraid to find out what mine is but it would be good to know.

What an awesome evening! I can't wait until I can have a splurge night (lobster and champagne). I love reading your progress because you've come so far and have a really good hold on it. I'm following a low-calorie/low-fat diet. I have no idea how many calories I should be eating. I'm guessing between 1200-1300, but I'm lucky if I make 800 (and that includes two 5 oz glasses of wine--which I save my calories for).

Thanks Bill! I have played around with that IIFYM calculator before. I am using the numbers that MFP gives me now but living the low carb dream. :) I synced my FitBit over there so I use their food tracker. Glad you are confident and feeling great! Enjoy your light dinner. :)
