Lately I have not been following my plan the way I should be. I've given this a great deal of thought, as I am very concerned about my performance. I am going to step back for a few days in order to give myself a little time to reevaluate and regain my commitment. I will continue to watch what I eat and to weigh myself daily, but I will not be logging that data on FS, beginning today. I'm thinking I need two or three days, so I'm not sure exactly when I will be back, except that I am committed to being back by Monday at the very latest. All of you mean a great deal to me, and you will be in my thoughts and prayers each and every day. Sending you all Peace and Love and Joy. 💜💛💚 Shirley

If you aren't following your WOE, then you are right to reevaluate. Maybe your body is telling you it needs something...and you need to add it in? Maybe something is slowing you down? A good time to look at past food diaries and see what works for you. All the best, lady. XOXO

Take care of yourself. If you go to my settings at the bottom there is Food Diary Nutrition Facts and I suggest that you put a check mark on sodium. You get to see how much sodium you eat daily. I have read that we should be eating twice the potassium. They seem to say that we should not have more than 2300 mg of sodium per day which would mean 4600 mg of potassium. It's a suggestion, I hope that you don't mind.

It looks like you've lost 8 pounds so far in January! So the results are good even if you are not sticking to your plan 100%. But I can understand the need to just re-think the plan to figure out exactly what you can follow 100% Don't stay away too long!

I have been eating slightly more since the Holidays than I was before, too. I think cold weather makes us want to gravitate toward comfort foods more than other times of the year. You have lost 8 lbs. this month so you're doing something right! Take your break & come back remotivated. Maybe you need to incorporate some of the things you're wanting to eat into your plan.
