Fritzy 22's Journal, 11 Nov 19

Feeling the fatigue again. Checked and the last extreme fatigue day was on the 4th, exactly a week ago. Makes me wonder if it is something about Mondays! It would make sense if I still worked. Maybe I don't sleep well on Sundays. I know I was awake a lot last night. Still, I went for a short walk but was too tired to join my friend for a 2nd walk when she called. I'll figure this out. Posting a picture of lunch today, brussels sprouts with onions. They are actually much better with bacon, but, well, I am not supposed to have bacon.

Thanks Shirfleur! Liv - maybe the fatigue is all in my mind. Ireland - I just cut the brussels sprouts in half and put in frying pan with olive oil and then added onion because I had half of one left in the fridge. I didn't season other than with salt so people like Keyton would probably be able to make it taste better. It is good if you cook with a couple slices of bacon, if you are on an eating plan that allows for it. Sandyeg- thanks!

Oh Fritzy, I never cook it with bacon. Roasted in the oven in a cast iron skillet...love the charred bits! Yours looks delish, never cooked it that way before. Hope you feel better. :)

Looks delicious. Those low energy days come & go for me too. When you figure out the cure, please share.

Are you eating enough protein?

Thanks DP, Jengetfit,Binky, Wifey, Bella. Bella - I'll let you know if I figure out the low energy days. So far, 2 happened on Monday. HCB - I'm not getting enough protein the last few days. Normally I aim for 40-60 grams. I had energy the day after I fasted, yesterday I didn't eat much and was tired. That could be part of it. But the funny thing is when I do 72 hour fasts I don't feel like I did this morning.

Looks good! Sometimes tired days have no explanation. I hope you are feeling stronger. Hope you get good rest tonight.

Melissa - The fatigue only lasted a few hours so it was better than previously. After HCB asked about protein, I went back and checked the previous "fatigue" day and I had reached my protein goal both the day before and the day I was so tired. I may start keep a calendar to see if I can figure out a common denominator for the fatigue. Eventually, I'll probably figure out it's my weight. But I'll have to lose more weight to see that.
