Thanks Kenna, I wanted to eat the last of the soup, and the avocado needed to be eaten, thus the combination, which turned out to be delicious. You were right, the soup is even better when reheated. I love La Madeleine's tomato basil soup, but yours tops it easily. Keyten, thank you, but the credit goes to Kenna, this is her recipe, and it is both delicious and easy to make. And while I appreciate your tribute, neither my culinary not photographic skills hold a candle to yours. You, madam, definitely are the master chef (and photographer). Pixie and Debra, thank you!

Rckc — I think I used a serving size of 1 cup, that is what I serve myself. So about 16 servings
