rhontique's Journal, 10 Sep 16

It's been a good week. Kept my carbs under 20 every day. Need to get my protein up some more. Managed to get in 500 calories one day. Weight is dropping well. Looking forward to Monday's weight recording. My stamina is definitely affected by the low calorie intake. Have a great weekend my buddies!

Wow, your calorie intake is so low, no wonder your stamina is affected. I hope you are feeling OK.

Are protein shakes part of your regimen? I found that when my intake of protein was very low, my hair started falling out! I'm much more conscious of it now, and if I've fallen short in a day, I'll do a protein shake before bed.

I try to get 1 protein shake in every day. Didn't manage to do it yesterday. If I eat too much I end up burping it back up. If I eat too fast I get a pain in my diaphragm. I am learning how to manage my new tummy.

Check out the Atkins chocolate protein shake it is awesome. Greek yogurt the brand Fage 0% also Oikos they are loaded with protein. Low-fat cottage cheese is another great protein cruncher, and ricotta cheese with part skim also great. Keep up the good work, & don't forget the exercise!!!

Annie, if you log your food here on FS, it will automatically figure out the amount in grams for you. My fatsecret tab, then the icon with the plate and silverware. Play with it and you'll see how it works. It's a marvelous tool. Was that your question?

Erikaholister yes partly, but also wondering what daily calorie intakes people are having to lose at least 3lbs per week. I have found if I have 1400 or above I don't lose anything, which looking at recommended intakes seems fairly low, but I am currently on steroids so I think I will need to keep below 1000 a day !

we all different. Me to loose, 500 calories. at 1000 I stay the same. 1200 I gain. so we just have to play with our numbers.
