Going to see the doctor today. 9 months overdue for my appointment so I'll probably get a verbal spanking. But he should be happy with my weight and health progress. Latest lab work has my total cholesterol at 185, HDL at 74, and cholesterol ratio at 2.5 (Below 4.0 is optimal so that's very good). Hopefully once I get back on thyroid meds it'll easier to lose the rest of the weight. Being more consistent and disciplined with my eating choices will help a lot also. Amazing how well it works when I actually stick to what I know I need to do. Burned 592 calories in 58 minutes according to my fitbit at lunch today with just fast walking and running a dozen flights of stairs. But exercise is never a problem, it's what goes in my mouth that gets me in trouble. :)

Funny isn't it - that when we do what we know we should do it works - plan the work and work the plan. Good luck with your appointment today - I'm sure the doc will be impressed.

We can't wait to hear the great news of how blown away the doc is with your consistency. You are doing awesome!

Very good! We need to heed our doctors, even if they aren't 100% on everything.

I saw one of the doc's assistants, less personal so no scolding...too bad as I was looking forward to pointing out my progress to him. Anyway meds are refilled except no need for the blood pressure meds as that is now fine, has been for months. I'll work on weaning myself off the statin, would be great to not take it. Because of the stents they would like to see my LDL under 70.

You'll get the Doc the next time. :) That's great about the BP meds. and countdown to no statin.

Your doctor is going to be so proud of you. I know my doctor was amazed when I came back 50 lbs lighter. He was always cautioning me about my A1c test for blood sugar. Now he never mentions it.
