Here is our turkey chili recipe. We submitted to the FS recipes several months to a year ago, but still listed as "under review." Don't know what the deal is there (and don't really care). For our friends who've asked, here ya go:
Crock Pot Turkey Chili
A light and delicious Turkey Chili with lots of beans and veggies.
Ingredients 3.5 cups diced tomatoes 9 tbsp green chiles 1 cup tomato sauce 2 cups cooked ground turkey 2 cups garbanzo beans 2 cups black beans 1 small onion 1 medium green pepper 2 cups kidney beans
Directions
1. Dump all the canned beans in a colander and rinse them. Cut up the peppers and put in the colander. 2. Cut up the onion and cook with the ground turkey. 3. Put the turkey, onion, beans into a crock pot and add the diced tomatoes, chiles, and tomato sauce. Cook on 'Auto' for 4.5 hours (starts high, then changes to low). 4. Enjoy! Just 300 calories for a 12 oz. (1.5 cup) serving!
