Good morning! Up to 213.6 after our fun day out with a massive Mexican lunch (with tortilla chips and a jumbo margarita!) Did not eat anything else after that yesterday but I'm probably holding in some of additional fat and carbs due to all the salt!) Since we ate at about 1:30 or 2:00 pm yesterday, I actually will have fasted for 22 hours before I eat at noon today. About to do my weight lifting workout, so maybe I'll be down a few more ounces after that. Later, it's some NFL watching with some of Denise's healthy turkey chili (I submitted the recipe to the cookbook up here a year ago but it's not approved yet?) Anyway, have a great Sunday! Bill

I did a 22 hour fast yesterday too. I think it does help after a "gut-basher" as my DH calls it. LOL! Turkey chili sounds delish! Have a great day!

I ate too much yesterday and my weight went up 3 lbs. Yuck!! It's probably mostly water weight. I'll join you in exercise but, I'm also going to drink water with lemon in it. That works as a diuretic.

Trying a new diet 1-1-1. As always, it makes sense. 1 - Protein, 1 - Fat, 1- Carb serving (in measured balance) at each meal with snacks in between. Virtually nothing is forbidden. The author focuses on balance rather than restriction.

Bill, do you soak your chia seeds first? I got my first bag. I made a flaxseed muffin in a mug and stirred in 1 TBSP of chia seeds. It was a bit crunchy. LOL!!!

Just made a pot of chili with 90% beef. Won't eat it though. Got a recipe for your turkey chili? I put chia seeds in my cottage cheese too. Pretty funky, isn't it, but good. I made oatmeal and added chia and flax seed. Talk about fiber.
