A great side dish for fried main dishes.
Ingredients
Directions
- Sauté garlic in olive oil until aromatic.
- Add chayote and bamboo shoots. Sauté for 3 mins.
- Add bean sprouts. Sauté for 2 mins.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients (minus corn starch and 2 tbsp water) in a bowl and pour into pan. Cover and simmer until veggies are soft.
- Adjust to taste. Mix cornstarch and water, then add to pan. Mix until sauce is thickened. Serve.
