Turkey and Cheese Stuffed Pepper

So comforting, delicious, and easy to make.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut the top off the red pepper and remove all seeds and insides.
  3. Mix the meat with black pepper and salt.
  4. Fill the red pepper with the meat, cover with foil, and put in the oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Add cheese on top when the meat has browned and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.

Reviews 
Cooked ground beef (not turkey) in skillet with a bit of onion. Used green pepper (not red) and cut it in half top to bottom. Cooked pepper alone in microwave until just tender. Stuffed it with meat/onion mixture, topped it with cheese, and back in microwave just until cheese melts. Very good this way, and great for when you are in a hurry!

I used ground beef for this recipe and it was delicious! Didn't need any other food with it... I submitted the photo to show what the dish looks like. I loved it! Plus I was full after eating.. :)

This was scrumptious. I modified it somewhat by adding chopped onions, celery and fresh garlic.

Sounds yummy to me. I love ground turkey instead of ground beef. It's so less fatty.
