To sleep after 3 am. Awake at 9:30 am by phone call. Slept 6.5 hrs but it was a fitful sleep. Worrying about the horrible day yesterday. I found out my mailbox at the main post office was broken into and all my mail was stolen, post office is apathetic about it. I lost my temper with my 89 year old father, I fell beside my car (no injuries), and my grocery cart full of groceries ran into my car door and fell over with all the groceries rolling out onto the wet pavement in the pouring rain and in the dark. (I didn't even look to see what damage was done to my car door.) I got into my home and before I even started to unload my groceries into fridge I sat down and ate a whole 100g dark chocolate bar, that I bought as a planned treat to last me all week, at 1 piece per day.

I guess all my tossing and turning burned extra calories as I was down 2.2 lbs overnight!
145.8 kg Lost so far: 6.2 kg.    Still to go: 80.5 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.

Oh you poor thing! What a day! Things will improve and you'll look back at this and laugh. And I haven't seen a Herman cartoon in nearly 30 years - thank you for including it. It is very representative of my usual nightly routine. ☺

Thank-you all for your support. Jim Unger (Herman cartoons) was my favourite cartoonist. He was Canadian and died in 2012 on Vancouver Island, where I live. I plan to post 'Herman' with my journals posts, if I find one that relates to the content, as they always make me laugh. Enjoy!
