up and at 'em this morning, bathroom, stripped, weighed in. OH MY Heavens! Am I dreaming? I drug the scale around testing it out. Consistent reading. Happy. I followed my plan to a tee again this week- 5:2, IF, LC. I've noticed my fat has been a little lower, protein a little higher than before some days. Made sure to drink drink drink. I have been taking green tea extract, maybe that helps?

Also took measurements. It's been a month. Lost 8.75" (I measure 9 different spots. Total lost since February when I first measured 18.5". Happy.


Now here come the worries....We have a charity auction tonight. I feel ok with the food choices but they will have desserts. The tiny ones that you take yourself, maybe one or two. Gotta stop there! Chinese buffet on Sunday. I REALLY REALLY REALLY love their coconut scallops. Not sure how to count them, not even sure how bad they are for me. They are having Iowa Chocolate Festival this weekend and had decided NOT to get tickets. Husband can't eat chocolate (nightmare, right?) and I would definitely have eaten his samples! Now I'm REALLY glad I had decided to skip it. Weekends are usually my undoing and after having a GREAT weekend last week I'm feeling like it is key for me to really stay focused. BUT I think it's ok to let loose A LITTLE and not go overboard. This weekend will be a test I HOPE to pass. I CAN pass. Please send HOPES PRAYERS GOOD THOUGHTS STRENGTH my way. I don't want to come back Monday feeling embarrassed and ashamed, having to confess...

Sending congratulations your way! Happy Dances! I have to stay away from the little dessert bites - totally. I think you are OK on the coconut scallops though, however I'm not sure how to count them either.

That's a HUGE loss, especially so near your goal! Your enthusiasm is rubbing off on me. Coconut scallops - well, you might look up a recipe for coconut shrimp just to get an idea what's in them. Coconut shrimp tastes sweet, I bet there's some sugar in there. Let loose - a little - maybe decide in advance how many you will have and stick to the plan. Savor the food.

My goodness gracious ... you had a WHOOSH of drop!!! Weel done!! Now I know where that Fat Fairy went we all have been looking for! Hope she drops by my place next. LOL! I bet you are over the moon! I agree ... lay off the sweets (they usually aren't that good anyway) and if you want to splurge ... those coconuts scallops sound good to me.

Ah-mazing!! Way to go! Live life this weekend but remember how hard you have worked for what you have achieved. You will need to work a little this weekend too. And I'm with Misty... skip the little desserts. For me, just tasting ONE would derail me and even if I didn't have more, I would be thinking about them the rest of the night. It that taste isn't even in my mouth/mind, it would be easier for me to make it through the night. You go this! Looking forward to a great report from you on Monday!

Thanks ALL! I am scared to death eating this weekend. And then I think don't stress, cortisol makes you gain...then I feel stressed....for cryin' out loud, kim take a deep breath and relax....this is how my mind works, lol!
