Fritzy 22's Journal, 19 Nov 23

In spite of buying and eating a loaf of sourdough bread and half a bag of potato chips (the other half is in the garbage) I managed to meet my goal of a pound a week! Of course I had to fast 42 hours and then have only liquids yesterday (coffee, hot chocolate).
81.7 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 8.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Thanks Diana! It was Jan-Feb 2020 when I was last in the 170's. Still at least 30-40 pounds from where I should be. I think I haven't been in the 160's since 2018. Funny how a,number can be motivating!

Thanks Amira, I was determined to show a loss so fasting and a liquid diet was necessary. It is easier not to cheat!

Thanks YOH! I hope to get into the 170's in the next couple of days. Holidays are tricky for me. Some years I do really well but last year I gained 7 pounds between Thanksgiving and the end of the year. Eggnog is a real problem for me . I just can't buy it at over 300 calories per cup. I hope you are doing better.

I think im doing better. Im really feeling a lot of grief over the loss of our little girl puppy (our boys sister) yesterday. But better. Last thanksgiving i was around 187 pounds and this year i am at 134 pounds. That’s so weird. I am hoping to have a small amount of gravy which will be my only threat. Hubs makes Gordon Ramsay’s turkey and gravy. Gravy has lemons and i think tomato’s and onions and garlic in it. Dunno what else but have never had anything so good. So a couple of spoonfuls (not ladles) will have to satisfy me. Fingers crossed. We will have no other threatening food that day. Yes, holidays are definitely tricky.

YOH, That would be hard to lose such a young dog. I fostered Bobby and his sister when they were puppies. She got adopted by someone in my neighborhood so Bobby and sis got to see each other all the time until they moved about a year ago. She remembers me and always gets so excited when she sees me. I got lucky with the more mellow dog. Hopefully they will visit us in Oregon

Fritzy you understand then. Not only the loss for us but also her biological brother and her white brother. They know something happened they kept smelling me and daddy and little man wouldn’t eat
