Disappointed with the scale results as I've really stuck to low calories all week and was lighter a day ago. Constipation is part of the issue. Past experience has been persistence pays off when the scale doesn't want to budge so 1300 calories again today.

Sounds like a good plan.

It's a loss which is awesome and the fact that you are carrying extra waste in your system could account for that number not being what you expected. So get that crap out of you. :)

Remember you're converting fat to muscle... you may have lost 4lbs of fat and gained 3lbs of muscle. Like my math?

Natural Calm magnesium citrate keeps things moving in a healthy way and helps with stress too.

You got this! I noticed when the scale isn't budging, and especially when I start to feel like I'm starving, if I stay with the plan, I am usually in for an impending and surprisingly significant loss.

JMB, you sound like me. Did you ever consider that maybe you are insulin resistant? If you feel like crap, you're not losing weight on eating very few calories and you eat carbs, that could be your problem. Maybe look into it.

It can be disappointing but you lost something my friend. That's a good thing.

JMB, you may want to consider recording some body measurements. The scale can play some nasty mind games with you. I measure my waist each time I weigh in. I measure it at my belly button while tightening my abs. I measure all sorts of places but the belly measurement seems to be the best indicator of loss. Good luck!

Last night I was remembering that before I was diabetic I used to eat a graham cracker every night and had no problem with constipation. When I stopped eating anything with sugar in it, I had to give up the graham cracker. I added nuts and seeds and psyllium powder.

I think you have to give your body time to adjust to your new caloric intake as it is going to fight you tooth and nail. Just keep doing what you have been doing, stay away from the scale and gauge how your pants fit for the next 30 days. This way it won't stress you out.

You are probably losing more inches than weight. Don't get discouraged, keep going.
