Today marks 1 month into my lifestyle change and my personal goal was 15 lbs, that's where I'm at this morning. So I'm very happy about meeting the goal and also that I broke a "10's" barrier and am into the 230's. I haven't been 230 something for about 12 years, I was on Atkins then and got into this range but didn't maintain it and went back up. No going back up this time, I'm just going down. My new goal for the month of June is a 9 lb loss.

Since I was in High School and cutting weight for wrestling I've never stayed on a diet this long. It feels incredibly good to be doing this...I CAN do this and I'm not a hopeless failure when it comes to food. I'm NOT a slave to food anymore. Thanks so much to all my buddies here and everyone who has supported or commented on my entries and sent me messages, your support and advice has meant a great deal and will continue to do so. I hope everyone is doing well...have a great day!

You are doing amazing! I too have never stuck to a "diet" this long, but since I consider this my new lifestyle, I am not really calling it a diet. Here's to both of us never looking back!
