Day #10 of dieting perfection, but third day with no loss. Ho-hum. I know it'll start going down again soon, so I'm not letting it get to me. Making a new recipe that I'm really excited about today. I'm calling it 'Stuffed Baked "Potatoes" - Well Almost.' It sounds really delicious, and I entered it all into the recipe calculator in my cookbook already. More to come on that.

This week, I made a small roast ($18!!!!) in the crockpot with fresh mushrooms and onions. I've been making my own "Beef (No) Merlot," like the Atkins meal. I also put that into my Favorite Meals and Cook Book so I don't have to enter the individual ingredients each time I eat it.

My new food storage containers are supposed to arrive tomorrow. They have two sections, one big one small, with lids and they are completely freezable, microwavable and dishwasherable! I'm going to try to make one good recipe a week and pre-portion them into the containers for easy re-heating and serving. When I get tired of them, I'll freeze the rest of the pre-portioned servings.

Yesterday, I kept my calories in the 1600's (down from my "normal" 2,000) and today will be under 1800. Every little bit helps. Taking the kids for McDonald's today before they get into the pool. I've already logged a double-cheeseburger without the bun or ketchup. Gonna eat it cut up with a whole tomato, pickles and mayonnaise. Hamburger salad - without the salad (which has been sending me flying for the bathroom the last two times I've eaten it).

Your beef merlot sounds amazing! I am looking for something new. I will have to give it a try. I know its tough when you don’t lose.🤦‍♀️ Keep positive...it’s not a gain! You got this💪🏻

Low carb diets can sometimes lead to constipation too, so it looks like you haven't lost weight for a few days when you really just need to have a bowel movement. Drink plenty of water and go for nutrient dense food options. Also watch out for dairy as most low carb dieters increase dairy a lot and it can lead to digestion issues if you eat too much. Good luck!

Try not to focus on the scale. I personally like to only do my weigh in once a week typically on a Sunday. This week has been rough for me because of my time of the month bloat so I only saw a 1lb drop. But, I can see and feel a difference in the way my clothes fit! Pay attention to those little details 😊 And I agree with crm22415, make sure to increase nutrient dense foods and increase water intake. You can do it!! 💪😊
