Week 2 of my cut was very unsuccessful 😪 I’ll blame my period. Currently on day 4. Started only 18 days after the last. I knew something was wrong (crying over a broken can opener 😅 was the first sign) but it was just too early. I’ve been successful at warding off emotional eating for the most part, but I lose control while hormonal. I ate 1986 daily average calories. That’s just above what I believe to be maintenance. However, I usually get 4-5 workouts in and I only got 3 last week so no bueno. I haven’t started this week off that great as far as eating goes but I just completed workout #2 so hopefully I’ll be able to salvage this week and see a loss.
74.3 kg Lost so far: 20.5 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

You kept it under 2000 calories? Recovering from that is SO DOABLE. Sit down, relax, breathe, and take a moment for yourself. It is okay! Now, get up and go!!! :0)

Menopause sucks for sure but I don’t miss the days of erratic periods. Hope your week gets better. You’ve got this!

Bahahaha!! You guys crack me up 😂😂 thank you I needed that! 🤪 I did really good yesterday too. I ate just under 1600 cals. Monday I ate almost 2600 so I have some balancing to do 🙃 Work our #3 done (cardio) 👍

Jenjabba it was slightly better while on keto. I still had mood swings, cramps, and food cravings but the food craving did not throw me off track. It just led to more eating (especially peanut butter). My cals were low so it didn’t effect me very often. I continued to lose weight while on my period which is something I’ve never been able to do while off keto. Jdeuster I use to always binge eat during my period and then it would take weeks of dieting to lose it! Very frustrating!!!

I was never "regular" and then perimenopause hit with migraine headaches. I was so relieved when my periods stopped and the migraines stopped. I guess many women have difficult "menopause stories." I hope you feel better all around very soon!
