Draglist's Journal, 20 Oct 15

Woke at 222.6. Spent two hours after midnight reading my journals from January-April 2015 (when I lived in the 190s and eventually hit 14.3 percent body fat and 192.0 pounds). I am making an immediate adjustment to return to that plan. I will target a certain calorie total per day and will maintain that average until the end of the month, when I will reasasess and readjust the calorie goal and macros based on the results. For the remainder of October 2015 I will target 1935 calories per day consisting of the following macros: 75 fat, 120 carbs, 195 protein, and 40 fiber.

Whatever you were doing at that time certainly worked well for you, should work again as well, wishing you much success with it.

Bill just an observation, I notice this year you seem to have more meetings and some other stuff going on that may have caused you to eat more./ Last year I notice your only overate on major holidays.. Note: MYSELF am changing up my dinners to atleast eat healthier and LEANER. My PROBLEM, this year is I have had an extreme amount of work at the office which cause me additional unhealthy eating and lack of energy to plan better meals.. I am working on correcting that. I did have a lot healthy dinner last night.

I've done that. Go to the time when I lost the most weight and reviewed my food. Good luck Bill.

You'll get it back. You've done it before. It's smart to go back and figure out exactly what you were doing.

I'm pretty sure you will figure it out.

It makes sense to repeat what worked before...

It can be a struggle Bill. I hope you find your grove again. Our bodies change; what worked before doesn't always work again but we can but try. You work out hard; you play hard. You will get this, I have complete faith in you :)

Bill, thinking back over the past year in just the things I'm aware of that have occurred in your life there have been some significant changes and things happen...some things are losses, some are gains (personal/professional). But changes do affect us in many ways. As others have said you're wise to look back and assess where you've been and where you've come from, that's something that would probably be wise for us all to do from time to time. No doubt you will be back to the weight you were before and can get ultimately to where you wish to be. If it were a gamble, I'd lay down money on you. :)

If anyone can figure this out, it is you! Just curious, what does FS show as your RDI? Most of us juggle that number around because it seems so high. Looking back at the more successful times in our diets does give us a different perspective on the current WOE. Good Luck. You will succeed!

Wow, that is a lot of calories. Although...I could do that on a "feasting" day like Thanksgiving or Christmas. Mine is 1500 but I used to do 750 to 1000 to lose. Sometimes that didn't work out so well :) Always, a work in progress. I have to rethink mine too.

As always, I enjoy reading your site and the articles you post to FB. Thanks for sharing. Checked out that calculator. Same results as CoachCalorie, FS, and a few other sites I had checked, give or take 10 to 30 calories. Of course, exercise will aid any calorie burn. Need to up mine.

I never get enough fiber. Maybe if I keep the shavings from the chainsaw when I'm getting my firewood?
