Date night out, we're going to do endless shrimp at Red Lobster since we have a gift card. I've got about 1400 calories to work with so should be able to enjoy it, will stay away from the biscuits and other stuff, I just want the shrimp. However sodium content will be very high so I might give a day or two to flush it out before weighing in. Despite the rain I got a decent workout out in the parking garage during lunch and would like to do some strength training this evening but that'll depend on how I feel coming home from dinner....there is always tomorrow. :)
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I love shrimp. However those Red Lobster biscuits are straight from the devil - irresistible and so bad for you. Stay strong - eat the shrimp and avoid the biscuits. You are a better man than I am.

Maybe I'm just adding incorrectly, but your calorie consumption would actually be in more of a maintenance range (2000-2500) if you pigged out at dinner. Ideally for weight loss, you'd want to ingest only about 1500 calories/day, and on top of that, exercise for 1+ hours, bringing your total to a nice low 700-1000 (bonus if you can bring this to zero!).

Have a great date night! You are a lucky couple, enjoy the shrimp (eat 2 for me I'm allergic now) and take a day off from the exercise and focus on that lovely wife of yours! ;)

Dinner was great! We told the waitress not to bring any biscuits so no temptation to eat them. New choice on the menu, Pineapple Habanero Coconut Shrimp, delicious! I consumed about 1500 calories there, still have a pretty good deficit for the day, but lots of sodium. I managed a few pushups tonight, that's it. Will get some work in tomorrow.

Pineapple coconut shrimp sounds delish! A bit of chilli in there? Might get some shrimp for a change!

@Draglist Yes they are. I just hate the way they jump from my hand into my mouth.

I love Red Lobster! Alas, the cheesy biscuits - which I'm not even sure are legal - always mock me for resisting them.
:D

Hi Jim, I'm still catching up on posts. Oldest DD & I had Endless Shrimp at Red Lobster last SAT! It is a marvelous treat. I love the selection of different shrimp dishes to choose from, they're all so delicious. I thought for sure I'd gain, but still lost some ~ go figure! Maybe it's cuz I brought some of mine home to Hubby, hee hee!
