April 2020 Recap (average per day): Exercise: 2710 kcal, Food: 1510 kcal (Fat: 76.35g, Protein: 103.34g, Carbs: 48.60g). On a long term trend (measured by TrendWeight.com), I gained .9 net pounds in April. My body fat percentage went down 1.1 percent (2.1 pounds). My lean mass went up by 3.0 pounds. This is following a regimen of pure alternate day fasting by eating one day and then fasting from dinner until breakfast of the next eating day, 36 hours later. I also added alternate days of pushups, weighted squats, and dumbbell pulls with 20 minutes of HIIT treadmill. I took Sundays off. For the last three 'fasting days' I drank a protein drink with evening supplements. I did get down to 216.2 before a huge BBQ takeout dinner one week ago. I haven't been under 220 since. I guess I won't mind the weight plateau if the lean mass keeps going up and the body fat keeps going down. (But that was my lowest weight since before Christmas). An interesting note: when you add up the macros shown above at 4 grams for protein and carbs, and 9 grams for fat, it only totals 1295 calories per day. That means I'm drinking 215 calories of alcohol per day on average. That's about 1.75 glasses of red wine per day or 3 shots. I believe that. We know that alcohol has to be burned first (it can't be stored). That is at least 'delaying' fat loss because the body has to use it first. Something to keep an eye on.

This is awesome Bill! I've discussed my fasting plan offline with a close friend and I will document it else where for now. I will do same as you have done in this journal example and put mine up on 6/1/20 - I am inspired by your fortitude with your fat loss journey. I too am not giving up my spirits on my journey.
