Well, did work from 🏡 till 4. Went in and failed a temperature check. Temp taken 3 times.... 100.5, little time before checking again, 100.2 then final check 100.3. Sent home. Broke out into a huge sweat and now temp is like 99.9 Working the rest of my 12 hour doing telehealth to get paid. So question...... any woman her run an elevated temp during menopause??? I’m 39. Hysterectomy in May of last year. Just trying to ease my mind a bit after rooming a patient who possibly could have been shedding virus the other day, my Costco run Sunday ( wore a mask and gloves) Only thing I noticed today was feeling SOB around noon. Had great oxygen says until then and then dropped, but not low. Just noticed the correspondence between the feelings of SOB and slight wheezing and a lower O2. Yes not food related, but health related. Thanks for any input ♥️💜💚

No menopause here, YET! Thank God. But for you I’m concerned. Never heard of a temp during the change. Be careful luv!! Wouldn’t you have to isolate again for 14 days if around someone infected? That’s the rule here anyway. Get better and stay better. You don’t need more sickness. Praying sis. I love you ❤️❤️🙏🙏😘😘🏠🏠☕️☕️

I don't think my temperature ever went up during menopause or just before. I remember checking it when I would get hot flashes thinking it was a fever. I hope you feel better and try not to worry. 12 hours! What a long shift.

Wifey, sis!! I can’t even right now 😩 too much is going on. It’s a novel virus. Not one doctor is 💯 for sure. I heard don’t worry it’s been a month from a coworker to their are people who can shed the virus a month later. We have a nurse in Colorado who tested positive twice and is probably still shedding. I’m trying to be so chill. I don’t feel terrible. I have asthma. My mind also goes back to last Tuesday night when I came home to our besties and kid at my house. Told she most likely had coronavirus or Covid-19 and the all hugged me. 😩 How are you feeling today luv with that horrible massacre 😔😢 ♥️🙏💜💚

Don’t freak out! I’d let my bestie hear it if she did that. Seriously though, what was she thinking. Ugh. She was not thinking. So sorry jc. Hope it is just a minor thing. Take something, warm shower and bed, rest is best!! Praying always my sis. Don’t worry. You always make it!!! ❤️❤️❤️💜💜💜💚💚💚🙏🙏🙏

What is your O2 level?

I don't have any medical advice, but be kind to yourself.

Wifey.... sis😩 I still cannot believe that. Wifey, perks54, 4Vonne, I took a few deep breaths and had some dinner, embraced being home and worked remotely till 8:05. My O2 was not horrible. 93% was my low this evening. It stayed around 94%-96%. I was a solid 98% this morning. I just attributed the SOB to asthma and the O2 drops. I’m just going to think positive. I get bronchitis easy. We will see what tomorrow brings. I feel pretty ok 🙌 good night all and thanks for some input ♥️🙏💜💚💤

I used to check mine during hot flashes and occasionally I’d run 99 but usually not higher. Of course I’m always cold and usually have a blanket over me so that could’ve been why I occasionally had a slight fever. Dr told me it wasn’t because of the hot flashes though. My hysterectomy was May 2016 and I still get hot flashes but haven’t checked temp in years.

Keep in mind there are other bugs going around too. It could be a slight bug and not covid19 ;).

Hi, I am in menopause and I get frequent hot flashes. I've taken my temperature many times out of curiosity and nope, I never have a temperature even in the middle of a bad hot flash. Take care!

I have never had a temp during my many years long menopause (although lots of night sweats and hot flashes). I have also have had a fever since Sunday, and really wish I had one of those O2 monitors which would give me peace of mind. I am glad you have that tool since you would know if you are dropping into an unsafe zone.

Please take good care jcmama. Seems so weird to say hope it’s just asthma. Just keep monitoring your temp and any symptoms you may be having, to keep an eye out for any changes. Be blessed.

I am in the beginning throes of menopause. I always run a low temp around 97.5. But I have been around 98.6 lately. For me, that is a bit high. Now, the sweats, they are crazy. I walked around in a tank top and sandals all winter. My body is crazy. But do keep tabs on the changes. I use apps for everything. I been using one called Clue for about a year and a half bc my periods starting getting wonky. But it's great for recording everything that I'm going through. I'm sure there are better ones for menopause though. It would be great for helping you track your symptoms and such. Take care of you! ☺️🤗
