Shirfleur, I just had a blood test yesterday. Every health care provider and reception staff were fully suited, including complete face coverage plexiglass masks. Where, specifically, are you getting your information? 

Stateside, President Trump invoked the Defense Production Act, a Cold War-era law that allows the government to direct private industry to generate critical materials in times when "national defense" is threatened. GM said that CEO Mary Barra met with President Trump and discussed producing ventilators. Normal GM production in North America is on pause until at least March 30.  A CNBC source said GM wouldn’t be adjusting its equipment, but devoting extra factory space to making ventilators.  

Liv - I've heard what you've said. Erquiaga just listen to the governor of New York! And all the nurses on the news. Some areas are lucky so far. My area only has one case of the coronavirus but we all know it's just a matter of time. 

Yes, this is all new for everyone. We do not have a complete picture or all the information. Remember, we are a Representative Republic based on Federalism. In most cases it's up to the governor to call on the president for assistance. Please stay away from sensationalized media, listen to the daily Presidential News briefings, go to the CDC and NIH websites, and follow the guidelines for your state. New York and California have the highest concentration of people. The cases will be higher in those areas. Emotions of every individual will be all over the place. Remember, stress is not our friend, nor is spreading fear. May God's blessings be with each of you 🙏.

Just one more comment and then I will shut up. For those of us who are old enough to have had family serve during World War II; our country was totally unprepared after the attack on Pearl Harbor. We had to pull together as a nation. The military and supplies necessary did not happen overnight. We are a society that is so inundated with information at this time, it seems we need to step back and think realistically. We will survive, maybe in a new way. But survive nonetheless. 🙏♥️🙏

I AM a healthcare provider and I assure you that my colleagues and I are adequately equipped. 

I heard what he said and we still do not have enough test kits for those who need them at this present time. 

I’m with you dear. Our FIRST priority is to protect ALL healthcare workers in every state. This virus is deadly, and can do permanent lung damage, to even survivors. Don’t take it lightly. 

True, tiffany1908. People who don't need testing are going for tests exacerbating the situation. Read down through the other comments. 

Our Government is not omniscient. There was no way for us to be prepared. The majority of my family work in health care. They are not freaking out, so let's not The rest of us. The Country as a whole is now pulling together the best we can.  

This is a diet group and you're saying negative things that may trigger some to overeat. I suggest you take these non-food opinions elsewhere. 

I know, my daughter is an e r. nurse and she is scared everyday going to work.
