My PF closed. I knew it was a matter of time. Interested in how I'll look in 8 weeks after mostly cardio... or light weights. And today was back day. :( It's crazy how much is taken for granted and how spoiled and blessed we are because this being only day 3 of inconveniences is killing me. And really- the gym should maybe be the least of my concern- but I am more selfish than I would care to admit. I hate change and I hate when things don't go as planned... I would never survive long term in a catastrophic situation. I don't even own a flashlight except on my cell phone and if I do- it likely has no batteries.

What about the jail gym? Or has that closed also? Crazy times. It gets crazier here too. Never know what a day will bring now. 😑

I’m joining you in the selfish department. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I miss the gym (and the brief daily pause on the chasing after my littles). Gonna run some and maybe lift littles instead of weights 🤣😂

The jail gym changed its code on the lock. David has it but I'm pretty sure they don't want me there. Plus I'm a rule follower so I wouldn't want to get in trouble or get him in trouble.

Understood. Do you have any workout stuff at home? I’m seeing a lot of people in panic mode cause gyms are closed. I’ve never depended on a gym. So glad now. Nothing workout wise will change for me. Maybe workout more, that’s all. Some private homes don’t want me now. I understand but boy, financially, I can’t imagine if this goes on and on. Can’t fret, just do our best.

My gym closed a week ago. I bout some resistance bands of varying strengths to at least maintain muscle tone.

Same. I took the week off from work, only to learn today that everyone who can is supposed to work from home. I've got NO IDEA how I'm supposed to do that, plus yeah my gym is also closed. I was going to spend some quality time there but instead I guess I'll work on my house. As my daughters would say, "First World Problems."

Right here with you Princess. My gym closed this week until the 30th - at least. I'm grateful I got to do my chest & back day before it closed. Spoiled too. Take care! Be well.

I use beachbodyondemand on my amazon fire stick. They have so many different workout videos. And its resistance and cardio. I'm sure there would be something there that would work for you

I miss going to gym classes a lot as well. Working the body was a destressor. Hang in there!

I'm missing my swimming pool too. Because of my crappy joints, I can't really substitute most exercises at home. I hope I can keep my calories in check! Good luck to everyone!

My gym closed at noon yesterday. What did I do? Scheduled a training session b4 12..I too understand the closures. Vegas is basically on a 2 week quarentine. I did download Les Mills bodycombat and it's pretty good. No equipment needed and meets cardio needs. I have weights but only 5lb ones, as well as bands. I will do full body workouts but I too worry about what I'll lose muscle wise. I know that is low on list of worries but I'm just being real. My biggest worry is not so much about getting the virus, it's about what it will do to our country. I'm a believer and just have to continue to put my trust in God. I will miss going to church the most. I will continue to pray and listen to our pastor online. End of my rambling..be safe everyone!💜💜

You could get a pull up/chin up bar and an assisted band at first if you don't have any. Google what muscles they work. Great for back muscles!!

I have small flashlights on the night stands next to the beds. Started that after having so many power outages. They come in useful when my dogs wants to go outside after dark. I go out with a flashlight on to the deck to make sure there are no foxes, raccoons or skunks before he goes out! I think my gym may still be open, but if it is, not for long.
