liv001's Journal, 09 Nov 19

It is long weekend here in Canada as we celebrate remembrance day on the 11th. the 9th so ketoversary for me: 13 months.

I am still very low carb as I am working to find out what my limits are. I am eating my normal amount of food (it has been around 1800 per day this month), moving some most days. Mostly yoga last two weeks

Weight is down a bit. After my high carb day last Friday (which made it 10 in total) it was 116.8 for a few days and then came down after 3 days. But fluctuations between 115 and 117 seems to be the normal now.

I seem to have lost some inches the last few months. I had to get rid of my size six pants as they were falling down and my size 2 is roomy now. I am actually losing stomach fat. So that is a very good incentive to stay with very low carb just to see where it will take me. So continue as normal

Daughter came home for the long weekend. I made moussaka for us yesterday. I think that was my first time making it and I realize that I really liked the eggplant. So I will do it again. Always fun to discover a new veggie favourite.

Plan is Yoga, walk, moussaka left over and go to see the Korean movie Parasite today.

You really motivate me with your transformation! I remember getting into a size 4 years ago, went shopping and bought a bunch of size 4's. That lasted about a week. I'm never able to stay in maintainence - I do much better during the diet and losing weight part. Hopefully, you'll still be posting if I ever reach my goal and then have to try to maintain.

Thanks everyone. It was a good day. Got all those things accomplished LOL. The movie was really good. A sad, and funny and profound story - all in one. And the cinematography was exceptional.

I always feel like that guy who did the 'we're not worthy' when I visit your journal. You are so darn amazing and inspiring. I'm so grateful for your friendship and encouragement here. I have to check this movie out now too.

I love eggplant but I heard it's not appropriate for Keto. Is that true? 🇨🇦

hi. where ca I go on a low carb diet? there are soo many Keto ones...not sure where to start. help

Hi Canucks I am on the prarie!!!. @Ockomaz . Eggplant does not have many carbs and plenty of fiber that you can deduct from the total. Do not go with what you hear, people say weird things some times. @Zahradery ... it does not matter what you start with. The basic is to keep net carbs under 20 and see how that works. Good luck to you!!!

I am drinking coffee...Relaxing...and yoga... DH and I dragged out the deepfryer this week so I made all my favourites: Chicken wings, breaded fish, and schnitzel but now that is over Salmon today.
