Odd how that processing changes it, isn't it? Potato: not keto. Vodka: keto. As Jesse Pinkman would say, "Yo, Science, bi---!"

Becc@ I love it. She'll have potato juice and I'll have Juniper Berries stirred. . .

We always count vodka as a serving of vegetables.

Juniper berries or potato juice with a little 0 calorie tonic sounds pretty darn good. Any suggestions on hops. LOL

I must lead such a sheltered life. Yet another thing to google. Juniper berries. Some people apply juniper directly to the skin for wounds and for pain in joints and muscles. The essential oil of juniper is inhaled to treat bronchitis and numb pain. In foods, the juniper berry is often used as a condiment and a flavoring ingredient in gin and bitter preparations.

Sure, I always take my wound treatment in a shot glass.

Wait, I just read the part about the numbing effect. Fill 'er up!! Numb me out. Don't stop until my forehead looks like I just had botox.

So did I but mine were infused with botanicals.

Bella - gin is made from vodka with different botanicals such as juniper berries. The high end gins place the botanicals above the vodka and then heat the vodka so the vapors pass through them during distillation. My favorite is Tanquery Rangpur which has the Rangpur lime in the botanicals.

Gin and soda is my go-to keto cocktail. Yes to Tanquery Rangpur. Thanks for the lesson about it; I didn't know its provenance.
