I've diagnosed myself with over training syndrome. Flu- like symptoms without the fever. My last workout broke the camel's back. This will be the third day in a row of missing the gym. Get in a few more reps in my memory, Chris.

Yes, must rest and repair...when I overdid it, I used to get insomnia.

yeah heading that way again. 21 consecutive days with a minimum of 90 mins F45 and 90 mins weights. reckon I have another 20 days in me before I am totally cooked lol

I'm serious. This is the first time it's hit me. I have slept 40 of the last 48 hours lol! It sure isn't effortless, I push myself hard at the gym. I'm starting to feel better though. The wife looked this syndrome up and asked me what I was going to do because it says you need 4-6 weeks to recover, I just shook my head. I'm NOT missing the gym for a week let alone 4-6 lol!

My brother just recovered. Out over 2 months. Not good. But overtraining is not good either. That can become as obsessive as the next thing. Be wise. A couple weeks is no big deal. Hope you don’t pay the price my brother did by ignoring the onset of symptoms.

Actually conditions from over exercising, like Rhabdo, can be very serious. I've known two people that were hospitalized with it.

Lol, not doing so hot yet. 4 days of no gym makes Diablo a dull boy. Feel like I'm shriveling up.

So, my workout partner seems to be taking my absence well as well haha. He always told me to slow down and get fluffy with him. Hahaha, that competition is fun.
