I am on yet another journey. I’ve always struggled with my weight. After I had my son, I weighed 330 lbs. I think I may have been higher than that, but I say that is my highest. I first did the Atkins Low Carb way of eating in 2010 and it was the best program to work for me. I struggled keeping that off due to stressful family and work issues, and have dealt with chronic pain. I have started Tapping or EFT (emotional freedom therapy) and see awesome results in releasing physical pain and mental anguish I’ve dealt with for years. I am a work in-progress in accepting and loving myself. I can look at myself in the mirror and smile and actually tell myself, “You are worth it!” “You are beautiful and healthy!” I have stopped “stressing” over what people think of me. I am my worst critic, and would never tell anyone the things I used to tell myself. I feel so much better this go-around with the positive results I have seen so far. I am very excited to continue on this healthy path.
