July 2020: This site changes its community a bit over the years, but it is always fun to return every summer when holidays start. I am determined to use the next 60 days off work wisely to achieve some fitness goals here.

For my eating routine, I follow WeighDown Workshop.com. Honestly it's not a diet, but rather a mindset and a lifelong discipline to lay down the desire for extra unnecessary food outside of the body's natural boundaries of hunger and fullness. Over the years, I have more or less maintained my weight with this focus to kill the greed for food beyond what the body needs, and to listen to my natural body cues. I love this discipline to trust in the way God programmed our bodies, esp. when to eat and how much. There is so much more to this life beyond the food!
