I didn't expect it, though i probably should have. I am sad and down. A very dear family friend died Tuesday. She was 50. i knew her my whole life.

I am worried about fs friends whom i haven't seen for awhile. I am way off my program. I know this place is the interwebs and all kinds are here, but i have seen some ugly, ignorant posts that really upset me.

I really hope and pray that ppl are safe (looking at you, dawnie and from371!). I am trying to pull it together, but taking a break. I am thinking about many of my friends here and wishing you well!

Very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear friend Jen...I hope that you find some peace in these troubling times too. Know that you are a dear friend to many here, although we have not and may never actually meet face to face on this earth. Take care, stay safe dear friend!

I’m sorry about the loss of your friend and your sadness. I’ve been spending less time on FS myself, pulling back from outside contact in general, trying to read books and do things that aren’t current events related.

Sorry about your friend Jen. Hoping you are doing okay. I haven't been around much. Don't want to log in the really bad food I have been eating. My uncle died last week, they assume it was covid 19. He was in assisted living and was 97. Got sick and died within an hour. I guess it's better than weeks of suffering.
