I'm trying to decrease the 1/2 and 1/2 in my coffee! Oh, but I love my Italian coffee made in the moka pot every morning. Good morning!

Try Korean Coffee add 2 egg yolks (be sure to get off the little protein strings) blender a little nutmeg and bam RICH coffee with the creamer appearance no 1/2 & 1/2

Rebecca! I am trying it this minute! I have never heard of that combo. I won't say I am likely to want to add the step of blending to my morning routine, but it does make a really interesting drink... One I have certainly never had before. Thanks! I don't taste an "egg" flavor at all... Just a slightly creamyish smooth texture.

Be sure to take off the protein strings... feels like a booger at the bottom of the cup.

I have to have half & half in my coffee! I rarely drink it - never at home. My sister will offer it to me at her house but with milk. It's not nearly as good. I don't think a tablespoon or two of h&h will hurt you unless you are drinking many cups a day.

I drink it black now. I figured out that I cut back about 13500 calories a month drinking black coffee! 6000 calories cut eliminating mayo and 13500 calories eliminated cutting Doritos. Lots of pickles though! lol!

caffeine used to be my life, I am drinking decaf coffee now.

I'm decaf now too, no one should be noticing their heart all the time... ;)

Why do you feel that you need to deprive yourself of that small pleasure once a day? A tablespoon— maybe? . Remember— there are just some things that are worth having for your mental well being. A healthier WOE is not about being deprived. It is about choosing and negotiating and substituting and planning so that you can continue to have some of your favorite things.

Oh, Fritzy, I have far more than a tablespoon or two! 😁 How can you one drink coffee regularly? Such a "need" in my life! Jamie, you are doing so well cutting out extra calories! Keilin, decaf is probably a good choice... Gosh especially, Red Fox if it is making your heart be noticed!

I used to love my mokka pot until too much espresso burned a hole in my innards eeeesh ulcers are The Worst! Now it’s just Earl Grey for me. Hope you enjoyed your day SkinnyGirl 😎💞💪

OK, Kenna, to you I will make my confession! 😒 I like a lot of 1/2 and 1/2! I have a big, lovely mug of rich, beautiful, coffee and add half a cup on days I am having breakfast. See, I could cut down! But, considering I've managed thus far fitting it into my daily calories, I think I'm going to leave it alone and enjoy my 160 calories! It decreases my appetite for other things in the morning for sure. It doesn't leave me hungry and craving sweets. Could be worse!

Oh dear, dear, adultosaur, that is dreadful... Both the pain and the loss of coffee! I hope you are healed now. Earl grey is good! My mom used to make me "pearl tea" with cream and sugar... Maybe where I got my love for half and half! 😁

The loss of coffee is a true pain. I still just love the smell! I can have one every so often. As a treat. Ah, I make my middle one tiny espresso cups of “tea” that is mostly milk and sugar. If anyone will be the coffee drinker it will be her! She tried to drink my iced lattes when she was like, 1. 😳

Adultosaur, I am with you about having the cream and fitting it into the daily calories. When I started FS I was going to go black on coffee. However, I gave up so many carbs that my coffee was the big "comfort" food for me that helped me stay on track with the rest of my WOE!!

Katsolo, it seems like half of the coffee aisle are boxes of pods for Keurig/etc. I had a Keurig (a gift), but donated it as it didn't compete with other coffee makers. I have almost as many coffee making appliances as I do other small appliances...BUT the QUALITY of coffee makes all the difference.

I went from 4-5 coffees per day to 2-3 per week. Cut a lot of milk and sugar carbs that way. Side effect: no headaches, but I'm awake more. Coffee relaxes me.

Binky, totally agree! A little cream won’t hurt you 😊 Sugar and half n half in my espresso was too much cause I was drinking too much lol, ulcer all better now! And I haaaaaate Keurig so guts it’s nasty.
