Yeah still on vacation... So much travelling I don't even have time for a long walk.
Eating like crazy.
During a time like this, where I am not exercising and I am pounding massive levels of carbs, I am 'raising' my 'body fat percentage'. I can 'feel' the 'fat' starting to 'accumulate' in my body. My gut, neck.
So, even when I get back to my usual diet, I will have at *least* 3-4 weeks up 'loss and gain cycles' to 'reduce' the 'fat in my body'.
I now see my normal diet simply prevents these periods of true fat gain. Normally I am just 'moving water weight' up and down.

My vaca starts in 3 weeks and it will last 3 weeks. Longest I ever had was 1 week. Lots of Highway with restaurant food and sitting. Been giving it lots of thought but few answers. Breakfast I can do and if I pack our lunch I’m good too. Supper.......mmmmmm???? Once we hit our destination we got a place with a kitchen for a week. Happy happy happy! Then a 2 day plus drive home. I can only take so much salad in restaurants.

I had a tough time on a "driving vacation" in April. Besides eating on the road, all that sitting! My feet, ankles, and lower legs were so swollen, and I felt awful. It took me months to get back in the groove. But I know you'll pick up where you left off!

Bill when we used to take long road trips, we would pack an ice chest with ready-to-eat meals in zip lock bags and have picnics at rest areas. It gave us an opportunity to walk around a bit and get the blood flowing again, and we thought it was much more fun than eating in restaurants. Hope you have a great vacation.
