No news...sigh. I don't have an after pic because...unfortunately I still look like this lol. I have done my measurements twice. Once at the beginning of February and once at the end. But...I didn't see a lot of downward movement. I kind of thought that I would see more just because of the amount of weight that I've lost. I have lost about 45 pounds since 11/17/18.

Neck - down 0.75"
Chest - up 0.75"
Bra Band - down 0.75"
Waist - down 0.5"
Hip - down 1"
Bicep - down 0.75"
Thigh - down 1.5"

45 pounds is a lot, just keep going. Take a look at your physical activity and toning routines and see if some tweaking is in order.

I've lost 45 lbs since Jan 2018 and the last thing to go was the inches....then they all came off fast. I know everyone is different but don't be discouraged...those inches will leave if you stay with the plan. I was about to give up hope on the fat rolls around my hips but now...smooth as i had dreamed of.

keep in mind that it takes time for skin to return to elasticity. you may be experiencing the skin not tightening yet. I still have inches that I dont like but its loose skin. just a thought. keep it up. you're doing great

I think you are showing a lot of progress! I know for me, it took a long time for me to start to see changes (let alone others seeing them). Just have faith and keep at it. You are doing great, and this is a long game!

Oh Katie, 45 pounds is really a lot of weight. I wasn't watching enough to think about that you had lost so much. That is a really big deal. I am really impressed. Let me tell you something about me. Since I have been doing Intermittent Fasting and trying to do better and better at doing Keto, since November I have lost my weight: 13 pounds and I am thrilled. Mine is on a smaller frame so it may seem like not that much to some people but it is more than, or about the same as, 2 sizes on me. But Katie, here is what I want to tell you: if I look in the mirror, other than more wrinkles, my body does not look any different. Yes, I can fit in smaller tight pants, but it does not look any better naked. Actually I look worse. I've heard that dieting makes us look better in our clothes, and exercise helps us look better without them. Being older, and with my bad back, my exercise is limited. But I'll take the positive of fitting in smaller clothes. Yes, I know you are probably frustrated that you have further to go. But Katie, we all are jumping up and down in happiness for you. Please be pleased for yourself. Would you discount someone else's victory of losing 45 pounds? Especially since November. No, you would not, because you have a kind heart. What would you tell them about the reality that it takes a long time to change. It is very hard to have the discipline to stick with it long term, and we are all proud of you. Yes, I know you struggle in life. No, I can't make it any better. Well yes, I will try. I will continue to pray for you, and I know others are praying for you too. The Lord is holding onto you, even when you are hurting. Ask the Lord to comfort you Katie. It helps me, even if just for a little while. What things make you feel better? Not sugar or sweets, or carbs that turn to sugar in your body. They only taste good for a moment but then add to depression. If you could just be strong to say no to them, it would help in several ways for the future. You know that, don't you? Please be blessed by all those here at FS rooting for you, not only for weight loss, but for you as a person. God sees you in your perfected state, standing in dignity and grace. None of us have too many years to go, till we will be together in Glory. I so look forward to that time, and look forward to spending time with you there. For now, you have accomplished a very lot in weight loss. Please be proud of what you have done. No, it may not show the way you want until later, and we will never look 19 again. But we can be better, and we know the benefits.

Katie, I agree with Snowwhite. Think about what you would tell someone else in your shoes. You would encourage them and tell them what a great job they are doing. 45 lbs is a major accomplishment, enjoy it. Don't worry what the tape measure or mirror say. How are your clothes fitting? Just remember we are all here to encourage and support you.

Ditto what Chrisw77 said. Also you look very good in V-neck shirts.

Great work, Katie! What are you doing to prevent loose skin? I lost 40 lbs, wore a compression garment at night, and did gentle dry brushing.

You guys are all so awesome, thank you so much for putting up with my sad. Thankfully I don't do this super often! I think it's just the therapy honestly, I have stuffed the sad/memories for so long that it's just a dang nightmare to be reliving it. And then the insurance company said "well, we think that's enough therapy so...you're done." So I've been trying to space out the sessions until we know that they will make an exception...but it's not worth it. I'm going to go back to the old schedule and just hope for the best. Then maybe I can get back to where I was and start losing weight again.
