Why do we have to see these huge pictures of everyone's lunch? We all know what a salad, an omelette, boneless skinless chicken breasts look like don't we? Posting a picture of what you eat doesn't make you any thinner. We should use this space to encourage on another and see our before and after pictures, or post helpful hints.

I enjoy food art. you can always follow some people and view only their posts if the food pics bother you.

the pictures share recipes and gives meal idea's to others that could use a boost with a little variety. I think they are helpful, but then that is just me.

I like to see what other are eating or how much are they eating. so if they complain about weight loss, I will know what to say. FatSecret is for that, weight loss- gain, food, I bet you are also one of the person that get mad about naked people pictures here 🙄.

I think they're great for keeping me out of a food rut. I have a small grocery store, so I sometimes forget what a great big world it is out there and there's more to it than a plain salad. People are so creative with the things they make, I love it.

But I love big food pictures! I mean, I’m positive everyone else wants to see my popcorn and salad... and pop tarts.... gotta start photographing the pop tarts.

I can understand you point but as Jen said, it’s a personal journal so people post what they want to remember. I personally like being able to look back a few months and see if I’d my meals have changed much. I like comparing serving sizes from then to now. It’s been stated that some don’t have the willpower to see pics of food and not binge. If that’s the case then it’s easiest to just scroll past all pictures and not look at them 😉. Also, some check meal pictures so they can get healthy meal ideas. I’ve found many things on here that I’d like to try. I dislike trying recipes without a picture of the final product. Eye appeal is a big deal for my family. If it doesn’t look good then it could be the greatest tasting meal and my kids wouldn’t touch it. Keep looking around and you’ll find hints tips and encouragement! If you don’t see it and need it then use a post to ask for it. Some days we just need to say ‘hey guys I feel like crap. I need encouragement.’ You’ll get it over the next day or so 😉. Many here have a wealth of knowledge as well but don’t like repeating themselves. If you ask a question people will answer with their experiences, science or post links for you to look at and make your own decision. It’s really a great app 👍.

Actually, it’s just been so revolutionary for me, photographing my food. I’ve lost weight with salad and fresh produce, and I am pretty proud of the different kind of combos I and my husband come up with. I’ve lost over 170 pounds, and I’m happy to tell ya that this is a very useful tool. We DO support each other- and the comments on the food pics is one major way we do that. I hope it gets better for you! I agree with Draglist- loosening up and having fun would be beneficial! Good luck 👍🏻
