Creamy Tomato Soup

Easy weeknight supper.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a heavy bottom pot, add onions and garlic. Cover with juice from canned tomatoes. Cook until tender.
  2. Add tomatoes, Bovril, and water. Bring to a boil and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and puree using an immersion blender or food processor.
  4. Return to heat, add milk and basil and reheat.
  5. Serve with crusty bread or grilled cheese sandwiches.
