Creamed Spinach

Delightful spinach with cream cheese, mushrooms, onion and monterey jack cheese.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Sauté onions and mushrooms in butter.
  2. Thaw spinach in microwave and drain.
  3. Add spinach to onions and mushrooms.
  4. Add cream cheese, whipping cream and monterey jack cheese. Blend well.
  5. Heat until all cheese is melted and dish is hot.

Reviews 
I made it with 10 oz of fresh instead of 12 oz of frozen. It was more like a cheese dish - delicious and filling but not as spinachy as I would have preferred. Next time I will double the fresh spinach or maybe try with the frozen.

Delicious sidedish that's easy to prepare and tastes like it should be served in a 4 Star restaurant. Even my "high carb" boyfriend loved it!
