Homemade Pitas

Easy to prepare high-fiber pita bread.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Place yoghurt and flour into a mixing bowl, and whisk/stir until you have a dough.
  2. Sprinkle another pinch of flour on a chopping board/countertop, and roll and knead the dough.
  3. Roll the dough into a ball, then divide the ball into 4 evenly sized portions.
  4. Flatten the dough out.
  5. Heat a nonstick frying pan, a minimum of 18cm, on low-medium heat. Add a 1/4 teaspoon of olive oil.
  6. Once the oil is heated, place 1 or 2 of the flat doughs into the pan. Leave for 2 minutes, then flip over and cook for another 2 minutes, until lightly golden brown. Repeat with the remaining flat dough.
  7. Serve with your preferred dip.
