Mushrooms and Onions

A nice low-carb mix to add flavor to a variety of dishes.

Directions

  1. Chop onions and saute with salt in olive oil.
  2. Slice and add mushrooms. Cook until they release their liquids.
  3. Cook down until liquid is almost gone and mushrooms start to brown.

Mushrooms and onions are nutritious. But, omit butter, you don't need it. Olive is enough. Add a clove of crushed garlic and parsley, dried or fresh. . Very healthy. Can pour over low carb or whole wheat pasta and sprinkle parmigiana. Or pour over brown rice.
