I cannot explain enough how amazing I feel about my fitness level. I finished my first month of doing blogilates every day and I feel stronger and tighter and better. I have a waist again. Woot woot! I am losing so many inches from my arms and thighs, and they seem to be moving to my glutes. Not bad!

Today I start my second month of blogilates. I am moving from the beginners' calendar to the regular calendar for August 2016. I feel excited about working out and am so grateful that I have time for it. I finished two of my summer classes and have only one week left for my third and last summer course. That means cooking is right around the corner! (At least for a week and a half.) It feels good to be back.

My shift from looking at the number on the scale to focusing on health and fitness is a new chapter in my life. It's interesting to know that there is a difference between discipline with specific goals and pushing myself, and discipline with general positivity and loving my body. I have mantras written all over my apartment to help this new way of living:

-I love myself unconditionally right now.
-Suck it up and one day you won't have to suck it in.
-I am learning to feed my self with love.

I think focusing on being happy is easier than focusing on counting calories. I hope I can figure out how to keep this going when the academic year starts, even if it's only 3-4 workouts a week.

So, for tracking's sake, I did my monthly measurements:

Last month:
July 2016
Weight 159 lbs
Body Fat 39 %
Fat Mass 62 lbs
Lean Mass 97 lbs

This month:
August 2016
Weight 163 lbs
Body Fat 38 %
Fat Mass 62 lbs
Lean Mass 101 lbs

These in no way sum up the strides I've taken or how good it feels to look good again, but they are helpful to me in the long run. I have a feeling that the body fat navy calculator and scale I am using are off. I feel like I'm down all the way to 147. Lol.
73.9 kg Lost so far: 29.0 kg.    Still to go: 16.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 0.4 kg a Week

Inches lost, measurable health & fitness improvements are a great way to track progress as well as scale movement...well done!! Quick rule of thumb, one inch of waist measurement lost is 5 pounds of fat (more if you are very big)....good luck!!
