one of the fans is for Hogan since he can't sleep on his back anymore.

I have 3 fans in the bedroom going all summer. 4 if I use the ceiling fan and 5 if I use a little one on my nightstand. I even have a small battery operated fan for when the power goes out! Bobby has never slept on his back

Yeah, I don’t even count the ceiling fans once it’s June. They just stay on.

Good luck!

Oh Fritzy 22– night time heat is the worst. In my neck of the California woods it could be 100 degrees and still falls to 70s at night. I can probably count on both hands the number of times I have slept with the AC on.

I would die if I didn't have a fan in bedroom! It's 95 degrees at night in desert...

Thanks Morgan! Kenna - Usually it cools down at night so I can sleep with the window open. But my a/c was set at 78 last night and when I woke up it was 78 in the house. Once this particular heat wave goes by we will be back in the low 90's and even the upper 80's. For a few days anyway.

My AC is broken - I might have to resort to window units! The fans are usually not enough for me.

We went through that and finally cool again. But a fan in hot weather is a hot wind.

Diana - I lived in Palm Springs for nearly 4 years in my 20's. I remember it would still be 100 at midnight! Abba - It's tough without A/C. My house heats up quickly and stays hot. The fans are not enough during the day but I can usually turn the A/C up to 79 or 80 and then the fans help when it's cool outside. Thanks Caraken. The fans help with the a/c going. But if the power goes out, and it does several times each summer the little battery operated fans help just to move the air arouon. Thanks Morticia - I feel like if the weight goes up a pound once in awhile it won't be bad. Thanks Wifey! Is that a kindergarten picture or something? Maybe I should dig mine out.

I have a battery operated 10 inch fan for emergencies but it takes 8 D batteries, but If I ever needed it it would be worth it.

Kenna - my little fan takes 2 D batteries! I ordered a 2nd one but it didn't work. I may look at a bigger one. I have an old boom box. It takes several D batteries. I used it once when the power was out for about 24 hours just to hear music.

So glad to see you are doing well

You should get a little solar battery charger so you can charge it during the day and run your fans at night. Not terribly expensive these days.
