Thanks DP, Ches and MC...I confess that I've been not as engaged with the FS site as in the past, other than logging.... and consequently certainly not as supportive to my buddies (followers) as in the past. However, when I do have time to look through and absorb both old and new members posts, it still is very heartwarming to see folks continue to support, encourage and help each other achieve their goals. I still am very thankful to the kind folks who helped me in my early days, some of which still post regularly and are still keep'n on, keep'n on. Take care all and wishing you you all a great 2020!!

Absolutely wonderful to see your update!!! How terrifically you maintain both your weight and your activity. Man, you don't look anywhere close to 60!! All that healthy living! How is your knee? Good as new? 😁 I'm glad you check in from time to time. Even though you don't need this place we, who are still trying to hit our stride, appreciate your example so much!!! 👣

Thanks for the kind words Melissa. My knee is pretty close to being healed though it's still not as tight as pre-injury...yet. Biking helps and has accelerated the healing and re-building process a lot though. I honestly have been very fortunate to have found this site as the food logging app AND the good people here made weight loss and eventual maintenance possible for me....before this I felt that weight gain, deteriorating health and fitness were an inevitable consequence of aging. I can tell you for sure that I do not feel that way now!

Oh by the way...if I grew a beard I'd look much closer to my age...it's pure white now.

I see you are around sometimes! I hope you are doing well and enjoying your summer cycling! You have been such a super support and example for so long. I posted before and after pictures a couple days ago. You helped me get there! I feel so, so much stronger and prepared to face the next years! Keep safe!
