Weather has been so nice lately. We've been in the 70's to almost 80, about 10 degrees above average. No rain, but no wind so the fire danger hasn't been great. I leave Sunday for the coast and will be gone until Thursday and it doesn't look like any rain next week either. I'm happy about that for my vacation, but we really need the rain.
Before vacation I'm using up what's in the refrigerator so I've been eating pretty light. Don't like to buy groceries before leaving. But I am planning on taking some food to the coast so I don't over eat while there. I will probably go to the burger place that has become a favorite but may skip the fries since they give you a huge order and I only ate a few last time, giving the rest to the sea gulls.

Great to hear about the weather being better for you. Are you going to the same place you were at last time? It sure was beautiful there.

Liv - yes, this will be my 5th time this year. I am going again about 2 weeks after I get back, this time with a friend. I've been thinking of moving there and want to see what it's like every month of the year. There's another place I used to go to, about an hour or so south of Mendocino, but it's a much harder drive to get there.

Nicely done, dear!!! You are going to have such a lovely time at the coast I am sure! When in Oregon with my hubby, I told him my dream would be to live there at the beach. A zillion dollars would be needed to even have a shack by the water... But dreams! 😁 I would be happy with a shack if I could walk out and be at the Beach!

DP- I can't imagine -9 degrees! In the winter we usually have highs in the 50's and lows in the 30's. I've lived here years and we've had snow twice, just enough to take a picture and then it was gone. Melissa - I really can't afford to buy at the coast, but I do keep looking. Maybe in a mobile home park for a 2nd home, but not sure I can afford the space rent at the coast. Bella - no evening wear allowed. Very casual. RgaDawg - I've been feeling guilty with us having such nice whether when I see the news and all the freezing weather everywhere else. We are all just praying for rain. John - thanks!
